With the daily pronouncements from Iran vis a vis Israel, you would think that would get a mention.
Maybe when discussion the economic numbers, he would mention the World's oil wealth, Saudi arabia, et all, and the oil weapon that's posed against Israel.
Syria? Even Egypt.
But most telling, in a piece published after Sharon's stroke, is that Buchanan has so much venom towards Israel that he still takes shots at a man lying in a coma whose influence is over.
Those insertions and omissions don't point to an isolationist only but to a hard core anti-Semite.

Actually, many of his sycophants are sycophants just because he has the "courage" to speak the "truth" about the Jews/Israel.

You may be tired, but your posts are PERFECT and factual and, sadly, the truth. And what is even MORE startling, is that some of them claim that they "support" Israel...on other threads.
I got to spend some time on another thread where so reverend was blasting married people who don't have children as sinners, etc. To borrow a phrase from pat, that brought the Amen corner out to pass judgment on anyone who doesn't believe "their" word of God.
It was my first real excursion on a "religious" thread. They're kind of like one of those "I'm a real conservative and you're not" kind of threads.
That's why I almost NEVER ever venture onto a religion thread! Those people and threads are like the Spanish Inquisition and witch trials...combined!
Absolutely correct on both counts. And what better reason is there for intervention than the world's and our economic well being? Just what is so bloody awful with the US looking out for the US? When did self interest become such a dirty thing?

Pat Buchanon is the man. Even if he oppossed the Iraq war, he still gave far more intelligent reasons for not going than any of the Dimwits who use to always call him a Nazi until they realized they agred with him about an issue. Pat is slightly to isolationist for my liking, but I always pay very close attention to what he says because he is an extremely bright individual.
