Then again, maybe the beginning of the title was clipped, for brevity's sake:

"Waitress, Another Round of Drinks for My Senator and Me: A Dogs-Eye View of Washington, D.C.”

I think if it were titled "[About] My Senator and Me..."
it would be clear that it is correct as is.

Anyone else care to opine?

SURELY. . .Ted's wife and family begged him not to do this. . .or at the least, change the dogs name. Or maybe all these folks really do, live under the biggest of politcal rocks.

From what I can gather in an on-line search they complained about her making "a bundle" and "cashing in". Only one problem with that assertion...the proceeds went to literacy programs.

Maybe Ted will donate his proceeds to a foundation for alcoholics or a victim assistance program in Mary Jo's name. < /sarcasm>

He knows he got away with murder, he knows that we know, and now he's rubbing our faces in it.
