I honestly don't know. That is one of the reasons I don't allow Microsoft to automatically do anything. It kept updating my WLAN card with "updates" even though it was the wrong "update" and it would cause my wireless network to fail.

If you go to http://www.majorgeeks.com there is another file
that will check your system to see if the WMF flaw is there or not.
