LOL!!! I hadn't thought of it in those terms! Great quote! Thanks!
On these threads I'm wearing my "American citizen" hat. I won't go so far as our beloved president by saying "Islam is a religion of peace." But I will say that there are Muslims who don't want to kill us, and Muslims who do. I don't really care much about the former. Let them go visit Mecca and fast during Ramadan. But I am extremely concerned about the latter.
In the weeks after 9/11 I found a little bundle of "Dajjal/Mahdi" information that it looks like almost everyone is ignoring. So I put on my teacher cap and am trying to inform people about this particular topic, for the good of my country and our allies.
I believe every American -- conservative, liberal, or whatever -- should know about this Dajjal/Mahdi business, integrate it their POV, and into our response to 9/11. Our soldiers can certainly fight without this information, but I believe they would be better off fighting with this info at their disposal.
My purpose is to deal with one small portion of the picture, and that's why I take the voice that I do. I know that there are others out there dealing with the bigger picture.
If you don't mind, my advice would be to skip the article altogether, and just read the comments. You won't miss anything.
BTW, I'm not saying that anyone should take my word for anything. Consider my analysis of the Dajjal/Mahdi as my hand-drawn map of the terrain. Go check out the primary sources and decide for yourself.
Bump
I don't believe in moderate Muslims. They either follow the commands of their holy book, which boils down to convert and dominate the world by force, or they aren't Muslims. If you refuse to follow the law of Moses or the teachings of Christ, are you a Christian?
Muslims are counseled to bore from within, lie, misrepresent and keep a low profile when they have inferior numbers. When they have what they consider adequate numbers, what of the ones "who don't want to kill us"? Their book is clear, so they can't oppose the more rabid of their brethren on that basis, and it is also clear they die if they remove themselves from the faith, courtesy of those same brethren.
In those circumstances, how many Muslims that "don't want to kill us", will change their minds, especially if they face dying with their families in their homes for apostasy?
I think it dangerous to distinguish between Muslims using that criterion until we see what they're like when they are comfortable about their political power.
I can't see any point of considering their endtimes prophecies. We're not going to talk them out of it, and we know they want to kill us and dominate the world by violence. Understanding is not a remedy for anything. Understanding why them want to kill us, there being nothing we can do about that, doesn't release us from the threat.
I'm concerned about both.
While they seem harmless, the fence sitters are aiding the enemy with their apathy.
In this war, there can be no respect from me for those who fear to speak against evil.
I didn't mean to suggest that we not keep constant vigilance. So far, my next door neighbor of many years has seemed trustworthy -- but I'm still keeping the fence up.
LOL
Groovy, man!
Well, you just blew your cover. Nice to have the enemy around posting here.
