Yea! MEG!
You can google (Web, not Image) for Background graphics. But most background images you find don't want you to link to them - you are asked to upload them to your own server. A lot of freepers use the free server TinyPics and also PhotoBucket to upload their graphics. There are some that won't let you link to their server - I think Yahoo is one that *doesn't* allow it - also AngelFire, geocities, and a host of others you can't link to.
How 'bout that! We're gonna get her fixed up, too! Yay!!!
;)
My family keeps knocking on the door to see if I am alive. They cannot imagine what is keeping me so busy in here..I'm learning how to post and to frame graphics!
Now I must fold laundry and tend to other matters! Life intervenes!
I know about those like angelfire and tripod. I fear I have been negligent and have not set up my own photobucket site..I found one picture that "disappeared" later. One step at a time.
I've been using Google Image..Are they going to come for me?
Yes, google image is good for searching for graphics. But Google *Web* will get you web pages for specific things.
Oh! DUH! I'm sorry - I just didn't read your message right! LOL! Maybe they won't come get you! :)
LOL! I love you, sistahs! You're in good hands with Aqua, you know that! And I know that!
LOL, it's the same way here.
Really though, congratulations.
Thanks you two, designing Posts is what I enjoy doing most.

What the others have learned to do is *substitute* the urls and play with the *cellpadding* and *width* numbers. The basics are there - all the things *inside* the html codes can be finessed. You can change background images, background colors, the background *frame* widths, the font colors and sizes, etc. This same table that you and Meg posted could look like this with just the numbers changed in those two background images.

If you look at the first one I posted and compare it to this one, you will see that I changed the numbers of the cellpaddings in both tables, and the border in the first table. That is all. It made the 'frame' wider. :)
I used the old freepmail you sent to me long ago to learn to post graphics. I just used Billie's tables posts, substituted the jpg, adjusted size and color. I did not want to use her link to Billie ribbon addresses without asking first..but all I had to do was ask.
I asked her to create more space around my partridge and she did the lovely framing, too.
I copied and stored framed codes I have done in order to have one handy to make subs in. That way I don't have to type every bit of code every time. I really do not like to type. "Tomorrow" finally came and Scarlett was ready to think about it. ;)
Isn't this fun! I am so glad I said I had questions..New code copied!
Okay sweetie, we're gaining on it. Now, tell me. What is cell padding and cell spacing? LOL

Yeah, now I'm trying to figure out where I can put all that info where I can get to it quickly. I have no web space because I don't know how to use it.
