This Irish article is interesting- the BBC implied the names of those released were known from a US spokesperson. But according to this, the US hasn't named them, saying only that there were eight.
The source of the names is 'a legal official in Baghdad,' whatever that's supposed to mean.

Maybe the CIA inserted each with a radio frequency identification (RDFI) chips to gather a little more usefull information.
Of course the Democraps/ACLU/holier-than-thou Germans & French will violently object.

Wow. So none of these people were murderers?
Excuse me, but I find that very hard to believe.
I couldn't care less if they are "no longer a security threat".
