I've already mailed my cards, and as I told my daughter, it was the least, truly the very least I could do, to show my appreciation to these gallant soldiers. But it felt very good to write to each one of them.

I sent my letters off this morning.

Coop, I had car trouble and couldn't get to UPS on Friday. Will get them sent out on Monday. Hope that isn't too late for you.

We'll get 'em there, not to worry. Thanks, and hope your car is cooperating now.

Coop, thanks for all your hard work. Please give us an update of how Joshua Sparling and the other brave soldiers at Walter Reed reacted when they got all those letters.

I got some goodies/cards in from TX, WA and NY last week. Had an intermediary deliver them to the folks listed in Brian K's article on Joshua, since I got there kind of late in the evening. I plan to post an after-action report after next week, when I'll have received more of the items and maybe even have had a chance to meet Joshua or one of the others.

It looked like a kid's writing because the gutless POS that wrote it was afraid to pen the card in his or her own handwriting. You're probably wrong, that IS how RATS write, most of them are drop-outs & only learned to print with crayons!

Has anyone heard more about this story? It ripped my heart out.
