Republicans now control the presidency and both houses of congress. Democrats can no longer win at the ballot box so their last chance to impose liberalism on the country is through the courts with their liberal activist judges. They realize that when Alito is confirmed that their stranglehold on the courts has now been broken also. They now control NOTHING. Fifty years of liberal tyrany is over.
