McClellen lacks the huevos to tell Roberts that he was way out of line, and an apology will not "cut it". Roberts, one more Canadian with a Dan Rather fixation.

Give McClellen a break. It's probably the first time in the two years he's been in that job that any reporter ever apologized. He must have been in shock. Usually they are asking him or the President for an apology.

I just had an email "converstion" with John Roberts, and apologized for my remarks about his mother. They were uncalled for and I was doing what I accussed him of doing. I apologize to the Freepers. Some days I get carried away and shoot from the hip. I should think more and post less.
