To answer your question, CBS stands for Constant Bull Shit.
Beyond that, CBS reporter John Roberts should have been shown to the door. The comment was offensive, disgusting, and Clintonesque.
Meanwhile, EVERYONE should call their local CBS affiliate and complain.

Look down at the bottom for the contact us link. Heres what I sent.
I understand that CBS NEWS Chief White House correspondent John Roberts described the Presidents selection of Judge Samuel Alito as sloppy seconds during todays press conference with White House Press Secretary Scott McClellan.
I find that deeply offensive. Look it up. John Roberts should apologize to President Bush, Press Secretary Scott McClellan, his counterparts at the press conference can Amercia.
That is a disgusting question to ask and your bruised and battered news organization just keeps digging.

Another scumbag MSM reporter shows his true nature. No way did he not know he was using a crude sexual reference to defame a great SCOTUS nominee, and saying it in the White House no less! More evidence (not that it's needed) showing that MSM reporters and the Demagogic Party are scum.

"I will not tolerate language such as that in the walls of the white house press room."
It is more appropriate that you might think. The White House press room use to be the White House swimming pool and was the venue for JFK's trysts.

Once again the media, CBS this time, engages in what I can only describe as rude and crude reporting and editorializing. I think we can see that any decency and decorum even with the White House Press Corps is long gone.
Disgusting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Scott McClellan is must too slow on his feet. The appropriate comeback would have been:
"I'm sorry, John, I didn't realize we are discussing your wife today....."
