Ok people, Ann is a political satarist, and entertainer if you will. She is over the top because that is how you get noticed in her business. It's all funny when we agree with her attacks. Can we not be so thin skinned?

Ann Coulter is the conservative version of Al Franken. (but skinny rather than porcine)

She loves to shock.

I look at her more of entertainment rather than deep thought.

"I hope she fights as strong for the next nominee as she did against the last two."

Shouldn't that depend on who the next nominee is?

Except when it comes to who she sleeps with.

Maybe kjam is right, she looks like a freak and seems to hang out with freaks on many of those photos. Matt Drudge is a freak.

With that said, I think she is right on the money with this column. My only fear is that President Bush may not obediently nominate a conservative this time.

Ann is a political satarist

Read this as 'political satanist' and did a nasty double take!

With Miers' withdrawal, Bush has us back on the team, ready to cheer for him unreservedly. All we ask is that you please not listen to Harry Reid next time.

Very well stated and hopefully this is sincere.

He is a lying loser

Yeah, but he's a funny lying loser. I loved when he put the trash can over his head, and when he hit his face with an egg. He also had the good grace to congratulate his opposite number when Bush won last year. Unlike Begala, Carville does have some class.

Her then using the MSM play book and attacking Fox News of late is utterly pathetic (for being to pro-GOP).

This is true, FNC should be attacked for being too MSM, not too GOP.

I trust W. Bush that H. Miers has a good heart and a strong character. I just don't think those things are what is needed for an effective supreme court justice.

Those things are definitely needed for a Supreme Court Justice but adequate relevant experience is also a requirement. The information regarding the experience part was lacking.

Jim Carville is funny.

Thank you, now we can all see where you are coming from. Does this forum not have an Ignore button?

She is over the top because that is how you get noticed in her business.

Unfortunately that won't get you respected. She's fast becoming a caricature.

Speaking of Maher. I heard a caller to CSPIN this morning, quoting something he heard from Bill Maher.

Good grief!

You didn't think Carville covering his head with a trash can was funny?

But if Miers got on the court, Democrats could have had their way with Bush. His armies would be gone. This isn’t a game of kick the can in which Republicans fight for any idiot with an “R” on his shirt. We support Bush because he is a Republican, not whether or not he is a Republican.

With Miers’ withdrawal, Bush has us back on the team, ready to cheer for him unreservedly. All we ask is that you please not listen to Harry Reid next time.

RIGHT ON, BABY!! If this horrible nomination had been confirmed and Miers started moving to the dark side, as she would have, there would have been no Republican armies to fight the 2006 campaign, giving the DemonRats a clear shot at recapturing the House and Senate. After that, they'd have repaid President Bush for all the friendly attention he's given them by impeaching him, just the way they repaid Nixon for all his overtures. Now we're back on track.

Ann has turned into our Begala.

That is not a good thing.

Hey all I know is if Ann Coulter really had any sway on peoples' opinion of Harriet Miers (or on anything else of substance for that matter) then it's time to crack open that bottle of Glenfiddich Malt I've been holding back and drink myself into oblivion.

Ann honey, go sell your books, hang out with Sean Hannity and do what shills do..........shill! The day this woman actually sways opinion about something as important as a Supreme Court Justice is the day this Republic is doomed for all eternity.

Time to crack open the Glenfiddich..........

So when he nominates Luttig, you gonna fight tooth-and-nail to keep him off the bench?

No. The whole point of wanting a Luttig is that he doesn't require us to trust Bush. We already know what he is.

He certainly has been as far as his positiion on how Islamofascist terrorists should be interrogated is concerned. Indeed, the administration would be well off to take his advice instead of running Club Gitmo.
