Again, thanks for conceding the point.

You aren't a player either, but you seem to hang on the word of the hysterical pundits rather than making up your own mind.

We'll see here who's point of view regarding Harriet Miers is correct. Let's see how the hearings go, if it actually comes to that.

LOL ... I love that picture in 131. That is exactly how the President regards Christians. Who is your favorite political philosopher? "Jesus Christ" That about said it all: President to Christians: You Are Dunces.

You pictured it more eloquently than I could have ever said.

Doesn't sound good, on the other hand--NRO is activelly trying to torpedo Miers.

I've supported the president on Miers from the beginning. However, the Texas Lottery stuff with the possibility of a rehash of GW's National Guard service leaves me empty. I'd rather someone pull out my fingernails with redhot tongs than talk about that one more time.

If there are political problems, and this lady knows it, then she should step down.

Sorry, but NRO has been less than believable on the whole Miers issue. I think the headline is a MSM-like "what we would LIKE to think is happening" . . . but isn't.

Um...ok....here, I think you are overdue for a...

Oh, and just to make sure your meds are ok...what color is the sky in your world?

Boy, if ONLY we could find a way to harness these "Big Gulp" Republicans to some sort of electrical generator...I'm fairly certain their spin velocity could sufficiently generate enough power for a "Moderate" city...oooh, was that "eeee-litist" of me? I guess I'm "sexist" too, since I used a pic of the Kool-Aid MAN!

Many who voted for him did so primarily for the impending SC openings. Many feared who a President Gore or President Kerry might nominate.

So, which one do you think would have nominated someone more to your liking, Kerry or Gore?

Ah, nothing like "Big Gulp" Republican logic...it never fails to leave the track and careen off into irrelevancy.

Um, if BOTH candidadtes would have given us bad pics....where was the incentive to support GWB?

GWB won his "Conservative" support on his promises of "strict Constitutionalists" for the SC, not "Connected Cronyism"!

Please consult your Hamilton in the Federalist Papers about this subject....that is if they haven't been declared "sexist/racist/eeee-litist" by now, as they clearly do not comport with the "Cult of Bush" doctrine.

It's a real clear point...try not to miss it again.

You have no clue of Miers is a strict constructionist or not. You're so busy worshiping at the alter of your favorite pundits you are willing to trash this president, and his nominee without even hearing a word out of her mouth. You are soooooo convinced that YOUR pick would be superior. Just how well do you know you're pick? Have you ever sat down and discussed the constitution with them? Or are you relying on what someone else has told you about them?

Face it, you're not capable of making a decision for yourself, if you were you would be willing to wait to hear what the woman has to say. You just do whatever someone else tells you to do, like a good little follower.

You're a Pharisee, UG. You judge the state of other mens' souls.

Perhaps Jesus will soften your hardened heart.

FYI: I was considered a "Big Gulp" Republican when you hysterical types on election day were shouting "the sky is falling" and were believing the exit polls. In case you haven't been around that long, you might want to review the posts on Nov. 4 of last year. All but a HANDFUL of us "Big Gulp" Republicans were screaming that Bush had lost OH and FL.

It's you hysterical types who need the drugs. Me, I'm steady as she goes, and in three years I'll be very happy with Justice Miers as she rules in favor of guns, life, and property.
