Yeah, but she's taller than I am.
Conversation would be occurring over my head, literally.

LOL

yeah, kinda like when my wife and her sisters are around...it isn't over my head but they speak so quickly that I can barely keep up

I was trapped, cornered, stranded, in the middle of a conversation between a bunch of people taller than I am.

It is disconcerting to hear voices over your head, but at eye level you're speaking to shoulders and shirt pockets.

Cripes I hate being short.

Regarding your comments on Harriet Miers, I agree with the message but not the messager. Please get a life and stop PMSing

Well said.

Best wishes to Ann, the sleek avante-gard of the American Right.

I'm still not quite on board for that invade-them-kill-their-leaders-forcibly-convert-them idea but I'm proud to be one of Ann's fellow-travellers here at FR.

Principles are more important than party. Without principles, there is no party worth supporting. And Ann's rapier-like commentary and wit press that point so well when so many are content to follow a leader blindly rather than think for themselves.

Thanks, Ann. And many happy returns...

I'm still laughing over that impeachment era appearance on MSNBC (?) where Ann drove them to apoplexy by references to Clinton rushing to the sink! I'd love to see that one again. Never before have sinks been quite so funny ...

Dear Ann,

Thank you for having been (and continuing to be) a voice for Conservatives.

Pay only a modicum of attention to the naysayers and fickle ones who gripe. Stick to your guns.

No one will agree with you all the time, if they do, be suspicious of their motives.

You are looking a tad drawn lately, so try to get at least one good hot meal a day and a good night's sleep.

Take Care of yourself, thank you, and God bless,

Smokin' Joe

She most certainly lurks on here. Her website has a link to an FR thread on the right sidebar at the moment, in fact.

Nonsense. She is a figure in the Conservative Movement, and that is what this place is about.

Never mind the naysayers. Some of them have been posting inane stuff to Coulter threads for years (many are the same bunch who go after Rush all the time. Post histories are your friend!). The majority of them are just hacked off because she wasn't supportive Miers or Roberts. This will fade with time. My favorites are the ones who swear her off, say that they'll never read her stuff again, and then promptly show up on the next Coulter thread to repost what they put up the previous week. Don't take my word for it, though. Watch it for yourself.

Don't let a bunch of keyboard superheroes ruin your time on here. If you leave, they win.

Happy Birthday Ann!

There are hundreds, no thousands, no tens of thousands of male Conservatives who would love nothing more than spend ten minutes in your company listening to you extolling the virtues of being a member of the "Vast Right Wing Conspiracy"! I, for one, am proud to be one of them! You, like wine, age gracefully! Happy Birthday!

Okay, over 7 foot by half.
