This is truely a time when the far right and the far left have met up.Didn't Einstein predict it? Something about the curvature of time? Looks like he was right.

She should have been named if the Administration was looking for a conservative lawyer. Oh for God's sake! This starry-eyed adulation of a nearly-middle-aged-blonde who can put two words together by men who ought to know better is embarrassing.

Oh, by the way, "gymno-" means naked. "Gyno" means female. Works for me.

She's not going to get many points for graciousness, though, is she? When has she ever? This is the same Ann as always; it's just not the same when it's you in her gunsights. =)

Its the truth. John Roberts is superb - Harriet Miers isn't even the TOP female lawyer in the country and to pretend otherwise is being condescending to women. If the Administration needed a quota pick, they could have chosen the best. What - there was an absence of excellent female candidates and the only one that came to mind was one recommended by Harry Reid? No wonder conservatives have been feeling livid.

According to the Associated Press, Sen. Arlen Specter defended Miers on the grounds that "Miers' professional qualifications are excellent, but she lacks experience in constitutional law" and Specter ought to know. This is like recommending a plumber by saying, "He's a very professional guy, but he lacks experience in plumbing." This is too funny. Serious stuff, but very funny.

No, but you continue to prove your elitist tendencies. Coulter just won't get off this "SMU is for dummies" thing of hers.1.5 standard deviations means that over 90% of Harvard students did better than 155, and over 90% of SMU students did worse than 170, on their LSATs. You can call it elitist, but it's an objective fact. By itself, it doesn't prove that Miers is dumber than a randomly selected Harvard student; only that there's roughly a 90% chance of it.
Ann is burning her bridges, for sure. Her next book likely won't sell quite as many copies as the last one did.
I'll buy some extras, as long as it isn't a compilation of her op-ed pieces like the last one.

'I love ya Ann. But I think it's 11th commandment time.'
Dittos. I don't understand why she is doing what she is doing.

Just being very smart and doing really well in a prestigious law school doesn't necessarily mean you'll be an effective lawyer. Some things can't be measured.

In fact, I Told You So, Damn It! might be the title of Ann's next book. LOL And, if she's wrong, she won't be able to get a book published at all, even if her co-author is the Virgin Mary.

Ann Coulter is a conservative through-and-through. That's precisely why she wasn't named. Not that she's a woman, mind you. She speaks her mind and every one knows exactly where she stands. After two weeks, no one still knows anything about Miers' judicial philosophy!

When Ann Coulter starts using the Associated Press as a source, it's time to wonder what the heck she's really obsessed about.
What is her point when she takes a cheap shot at Laura Bush?
I'd rather she went after Schumer for running the law-breaking operation at the DSCC that was digging up credit reports on a BLACK REPUBLICAN.
But no, Ann has to spend yet another week bemoaning President Bush's indifference to HER OPINION ABOUT SCOTUS PICKS.
Get over yourself, Coulter, W didn't pick you.

What about the points she mentioned???
When did Republicans become like liberals - forget the message, attack the messenger!

Starting to sound like Ann doesn't like the basic "little" person. Next she is going to start spouting that we are too dumb to choose our own leaders...No, only that most of us are too dumb to actually be the leader. There's a big difference. And I'd agree: most of us are too dumb to be put in charge. Except me. I am your sovereign. Bow down and fear me.

Despite the astonishing fact that Miers was THE FIRST WOMAN to head the Texas Bar Association a dumping ground for losers, by the way Miers has not had the sort of legal career that shouts out "Supreme Court material"! Ohhhh...

Sorry sink, the hypocrisy here is breathtaking.
Will it ever again be the case where someone's VIEWS are attacked instead of the person directly?
Why not attack her assertions instead of her? What are we so afraid of when a Conservative doesn't agree with us? Even though I now support Miers, cant you admit that Laura Bush was wrong to allow for the possibility of sexism in detractors views? Come on, man.
