Particularly given the conservative we can't question the qualifications of a presidential nominee school of thought.

There is no permanent elite in this country, just as really there was no permanent nobility in England when that meant something. But you think that "diversity" is a good thing? By the time they graduate their world views will be about as diverse as those of the military academies. Fact is that the purpose of higher education is to eliminate diversity of thought and to create persons of like mind and manners.

***Maybe he should follow your advice and appoint George Soros to the SC.***

My advice?????? Not mine.
My advice is that Bush nominate Hillary Clinton to the Supreme Court, which she will accept due to her vanity (and the assurance of a life long job), then have the Republican Senaters filibuster until it is too late for her to run for president. Then Bush removes her nomination.

I think Dick Cheney would be an excellent addition to the Supreme Court.

Yeah I agree! Have you heard him speak? He was awesome in the debates.

I don't recall ever hearing Dick Cheney speak in person, but I've heard him speak on tv many, many times. I love him. He has been on my hubby's short list of presidential material since I met my hubby. (almost 15 years) He got a ringing endorsement from our favorite college history professor (and top 5 US Constitutional scholars) way back when, and I've followed his political story ever since. When George W. Bush chose him as his running mate, he made a very smart move. It sealed our support.

I'll repeat. I would love to see a Dick Cheney on the Court. I don't think he would take it, but I didn't think he would run for VP either.

I would love to meet him, he is so smart. And such a great debater! Could you imagine how much fun it would be to hear him on the Court?

I would also love to meet Karl Rove one day too. Have you seen "Bush's Brain"? It was supposed to be a smear piece on Rove, but it made my husband and I admire Rove even more!
