I just saw the President interviewed this morning. He sure didn't look like someone looking for a way to ditch her, but maybe he is a good poker player.

Well, if this happens (and I don't know your sources) we will be stuck with Sandra Day O'Connor, who really doesn't want to be there. I am certain that she won't be thinking kindly of conservatives, and neither will the President.

Well, it happens not to be true as a straight-up proposition, for one thing. Certainly you are not making it true for McCain, Specter, Olympia Snowe, and the rest of the Lords Ordainers wannabe's. You're laying loyalty on us conservatives, not the RiNO's. How does that work, Miss Marple?

Specter's and McCain's posture in the Senate is a bluff -- and if it isn't, they'll wish it had been, if the people see them sending the entire GOP down to defeat so they could stand with the 'Rats on a litmus-test issue. That's exactly where we want RiNO's -- out in the open, exposed, betraying their voters. That, in the middle and longer run, is the only way to get rid of them. And forcing them to choose is the only way to break their "swing-vote block"/"power-broker" play. Choose. Choose now.

I've been reading the pro/anti/wait-and-see Miers posts for days and I have observed that the anti-Miers people have exhibited behavior just like the White House presstitutes. Pick, pick, pick. They've analyzed every noun and verb so they can mold the story to fit their position.
