OK, ConcreteBob is home safe, after hours of driving through heavy humidity both ways and hours standing in heavy humidity... now, we await word that our other two Road Warriors are safe and sound in their far-away compounds...
Great work tonight, guys and gal; and THANK YOU all for coming from so far away to support our heroes at WRAMC.
I love you guys!

traffic was a nightmare.. They can't drive in the sunshine and they sure as heck do not know how to drive in the rain. Grrrrrr
Just getting dried out now! Love our Troops!!!

I'm home, in dry jams, feet and hair still drying!
As soon as Gads checks in you will be able to go to bed, right?
Thanks for all you do for these DC FReeps Takoma. You are truly appreciated!

checking in, boss. Got home about 1am and just got my wife off the computer. Was almost completely dry by the time I got home. (amazing) Heavy humidity here in the Blue Ridge Mountains, too.

Well, I just counted names in my head (no wiseacre remarks, please) and I came up with 20, not counting the two honored guests who pow-wowed with you all. Albion Wilde took a formal roll.
I am mightily impressed by the number of people who came (especially you long distance folks), and who stayed as the weather deteriorated from bad to Biblical.

Ran the AC for an hour as I ran errands, and all in truck is still soaked. Will worry about in in the am. My feet are just now un-wrinkling.
But now that I know you all are safely in your castles, I can sleep.
G'night all.

We appreciate your taking the time to read about this ongoing face-off.
Our reports are very much a group effort, with lots of emails and phone calls throughout the week among DC Chapter members, and lots of bumps and comments afterwards from those who have been there.
We feel your support from everywhere in the country, and it energizes us! Thanks! I Gotta BUMP THAT ONE!!!

I can not say it was a pleasure, but I will of course do it regardless of the stage of "humidity" ... do y'all get much snow here? ;*)

No but it happens. Seeing the Code Pinkos and the way they dress for rain, they would not last in a snow storm.

I'll be buying a thermos for the colder weather. Hot chocolate will help and four pairs of socks.
Hey, pinkos, leave our troops alone!!!

Cold does not bother me ... unless of course I am not dressed for it.
Snow does not bother me ... unless I am shoveling it. ;*)
My concern with the snow question was the abilities of those driving. ;*)
Keep in mind where I'm from.
