He's a little late to start rallying the country, I'd say.
LOL :)
Or another way of saying it:
George W. Bush... Saving your ass whether you like it or not!
Couldn't say it better myself.
Thanks for providing the presstitutes' excuse.
I have had a backbone for President Bush and will continue to have 175% support. So have millions of us!!!!!!
President Bush is right . . . and it's about time he said something! If Boy Clinton and Liver-lips Carter had been half as aggressive and strident in fighting foreign enemies as they are now in criticizing the guy who's actually being a president and doing the job of commander-in-chief, we wouldn't have the problems we're facing now.
For two former presidents to carp about the current president's policies--especially during time of war--and for obvious political reasons, why, it's absolutely disgraceful.
But what should we expect from either of them? Clinton was (is) a lying scoundrel and Carter as president was (and remains) an absolute joke.
You know the Democratic party is in tatters when its leading candidate is a manipulative, cynical, amoral shrew, and the only reason that she isn't in there beating the drum with the Kennedy, Carter and her "husband" is that she understands such conduct is reprehensible as well as unpatriotic. When has that recognition ever stopped them?
Didn't encompass Reagan, he got the hostages out and rebuilt the tattered military under Carter into a massive force the Soviets withered with fear from.
And their conclusion was correct as far as the spineless bent one when he was in office.
I got the distinct impression he was pissed off this morning when he gave his news conference. There was a very different tone to his voice and even his walk was different.
major bttt
When did this happen.
I felt the speech he made this morning was definitely made for primetime...

"He's a little late to start rallying the country, I'd say."
I'm sure you would.
But you would be wrong.
More than anything, Bush's weak defense of his positions has dragged down his approval ratings.
If you want a Google GMail account, FReepmail me.
They're going fast!
Ain't that the truth! Maybe he read Novak's column this morning and decided it was time????
Nope. He blamed Carter, Reagan and Clinton equally. Mentioned '79 Tehran, '83 Beirut barracks bombing as well as the Embassies, WTC 93 and the Cole.
Shuck the untouchable shields Carter and Clinton have donned and FIRE truth bullets into their miserable hides.
That's what we want to hear. Give 'em a few more.
