This will get ugly when people go back to reclaim their guns.

They are clearing out the guns and the people because the city of New Orleans is soon to become the seat of power of the One World Government. Once everything is in place the Beast will rise out of the fathomless Pit and take the reigns of power and rule over the entire Earth. It's gonna suck big time.

I would start torching houses if they confiscated my guns. Screw that.
To: BenLurkin
If the federal government thinks this is such a dandy idea, why didn't they do it legally by declaring martial law?

Is there anyone else out there who saw the ABC report? Screen captures would be appreciated. I can't do those.

This follows the mayor's original plan to starve the people out of New Orleans. Now he's going to scare them out. Take away their ability to defend themselves against the criminal element who will remain armed and they either have to leave or be victimized.

But that order apparently does not apply to the hundreds of security guards whom businesses and some wealthy individuals have hired to protect their property.
If the private guards can have guns, how can they justify taking weapons away from people in NO who's homes were unaffected by the storm? There's no martial law, AFAIK.

Use their eyes...use their common sense...ask a few questions. If they are healthy, clean, fed, alert, on dry gorund, provisioned, etc. It is pretty obvious.
If they clealry are, thank them for being good citizens and prepared in a time of need...and then move on and leave them alone.
