FNC just had Red Cross director on who stated LA NG prevented them from distibuting supplies b/c they did not want the evacuees to stay at the Superdome.

Worked perfectly. They all went outside.

lol...the mother ship~ : )

Those oldies sure are fun to watch...too bad you live too far away to go to the "tent" meetings; I'm sure that would be a fun time.

LOL, it usually is. After I saw your post, there were at least two threads that went up about Garrett's report. The stupidity and ineptness just goes on and on....

When we did go, it was a LOT of fun !

Because women couldn't be at the meetings, I got to sit with Margaret Hamilton, Patsy Kelly, and the last Mrs. Laurel; to name but a few. We had our own little "meeting". LOL

We've been saying it's evident the mayor and Governor do not talk with each other.

I think it was Wednesday or Thursday last week that they both appeared on different talk shows and said diametrically opposite things. At one point, I posted a list of all the things they were saying and it was so obvious they had no central command structure.

And for Blanco to turn away the Red Cross on Tuesday - I'm on the floor speechless.

Make that, Keystone Killer Kops.

That is my prayer. Mary Landrieu is up next for reelection and her base has been shipped out. I don't mind if they vote absentee and only get one ballot. The thing is those people were bused all over Orleans parish to vote several times. Vote fraud has been rampant there.

That is what this power struggle is about. If NO is inhabital for months or even a couple of years most people will move on and start over elsewhere.

"Didn't Landrieu say earlier today that none of the relief money should go to FEMA, but should just go directly to Louisiana state officials?"

The whole bunch of them are corrupt, always have been and always will be. Landrieu should be impeached, Blanco should be in jail and Nagin should be right across the yard from both of them.

Mary Landrieu was on tv whining about the lack of NG in Louisiana because they were all in Iraq well before the storm hit. This is a planned attack on the president but like all of their bloviating and attempts it will backfire. Unfortunately their petty little games came at the expense of people's lives.

...Oooh, did they say when they were denied access?...
No definitive date given, but it sounded they were ready to go immediately, most likely Wednesday and/or Thursday.

If the govenor is still in charge? Why isn't she the one with primary responsibility?

Governor Blanco gives us a glimpse into what a second Clinton presidency would be like--indecision, obsession with power and self, CYA at all costs, complicit MSM.

Actually, that sounds more like Bill; Hillary would have called in the National Guard--to shoot anyone who criticized her.

"The one who should really be sweating now is Nagin. This is more or less confirmation that he will be thrown under the bus when the time comes."

Wouldn't that mean he drowns?

Question: Who pays for the Amphibious Operation to bring food and water to these people every few days?

I think I know and it's getting depressing.

Over the coming days the people will bond with our guys. Once they gain trust, the people will leave.

They're still too waterlogged. 'Cept for the one taken by young Jabbar Gibson used to evacuate 70 people. That one is in good shape.
