He is the one part of FOX I do not care for...I do not want to hear anything that happens to fall out of his mouth

I think this article is BS. I will give Geraldo the benefit of the doubt.

Wow. A lot of haters here.
Drop your venom and take a minute to see who the source for this article is.
I just love it here when you folks post "I hate XXX" or "XXX is a tool". Try to post something, interesting and enlightening. Then again, that may be too much to ask.

Geraldo has a following and appears to have passion. Please don't group me as one of Geraldo's followers. I just feel slate is backing up the NY Times after they attacked him and he gave them an ultimatum, write a retraction or he will sue them. Well.. they didn't write the retraction. It will be nice to see them get their butts kicked by Geraldo.

I still haven't forgiven him for revealing classified troop positions on live TV. If I had it my way he would still be producing gravel in Leavenworth Oh Please, he was scratching a stick in the dirt. C'mon what do you think Saddam was watching Fox News and strategizing around a big war room mahoghany table.
Thay gave him a slap on the hand and sent him to Kuwait for 10 days and then he was back with the troops.

War is not a joke or a forgiving endeavor. I am a twice wounded combat vet and have no patience for his kind. I have seen people die as a result of dim witted screw ups by self important a$$holes like Geraldo. He should have been made to pay a severe price as an example.
To: Bubbasucks
it wont be hard for someone to get the DR who said that Geraldo made her do it twice. Is there a name given as source in the main story?

His reports could be mistaken for bad SNL skits.
To: Bubbasucks
They did two takes. Geraldo made that poor woman walk from the Fox News van to the heliport twice.Fair and balanced????
Simply unbelievable????????
To: Double Tap
This story is an extension of the NYTimes BS. There are other things to gripe about Geraldo on without making stuff up. I didn't think he should have been reporting outside the Superdome last week having to have four or five guards watching him and keeping the crowd back. He pointed out very proudly how New Orleans' finest were watching his back. My thoughts went to the women or children who might have been raped inside the Superdome because the police who would have been watching them were outside watching Geraldo.

I saw some of the "rescue" and it looked faked to me. And then Fox News Channel had a banner up that said "Fox News Report Saves Katrina Victim" in huge letters. Last night, Geraldo was on O'Reilly tooting his horn over this "rescue" again. I'm not one to believe Salon.com, but my gut feeling from everything I saw of this "rescue" was that it was staged.
