Whenever I heard about Algiers on NO television as I was growing up... it was always bad.
Instead of the NO police this must be the NG or other military units???
Hmmm -- leave barge in canal for repairs, with impending hurricane. I wonder who the genius was who permitted this.
How are you guys hearing this?
Wow! Those images were telling a story more than words ever could.

So there are at least 3 of us who shop at Talbot's?
Make that 4. Although Chico's is my favorite. All kidding aside though, I think it would be a good time to clean my closets.
Yep - a sure giveaway. Maybe NG - because of the food distribution.
Well, regardless of who they are, they're interesting to listen to. They are working hard, that's for sure.
Dove season opened up the first day of Sept.
If you like to go bird shooting you should be here now.
"Zippy", aint been called that yet but been called danged near everything else.
One that really amused me was being called "Number Boy"
Insult or compliment, dont know, but am 65+ and been many moons since anyone called me a "Boy"
LOL
Wow! Thank you!
I didn't part with my Chicos.
It is across the river from NO I think. I think it is probably high and dry, since it is on the dirt the Mississippi put up. It is one of the oldest neighborhoods in NO. The moneyed folks repaired to the French Quarter and the Garden District, not Algiers, at least it panned out that way in my memory.
I have a logistics background so I find it extra interesting. :)
Expect a joint press conference tomorrow with JJ, Sharpton and Gore.
Two guys from South of New Orleans said on Fox that there are many people of white skin color still waiting on roof tops.
Says that after black leaders started playing the race card the rescue turned to the poor black neighborhoods inside the city of New Orleans.
Any truth to what these guys said?
Sounds logical.
I would need very strong medication to watch or even listen to that
add the Miss Gulf Coast and it could be 10-50.
Thanks,,got a better pic and it is clear the barge is in the city,,,wish we had a pic of it in the canal before it breached.
There is a newsman out there who was talkig about this the day after the storm. I don't know who.
