I sent an e-mail to a New Jersey relative of mine
who for the past some yrs lives in Baton Rogue
(her husb works for Exxon) checking in how they
are doing.
She is from orig. Bergen Co. and lived in Edison.

They are showing it again! I can't believe they keep showing that poor man. That report of Shep's is in very poor taste. He can get his point across without showing the same dead body all day long. This has forever changed my view of him.

No it really doesn't make me ornery, just leaves me shaking my head in disgust. Someone just needs to tell him he's crossed a thin line. For his own good really.
It gets more bizarre each time I see it--wow! That's gotta be a low-point for TV journalism.
I am just stunned that FNC has not cut the end of that report. They won't show the horrors of what the terrorists do, but they will show this all day long!

Shep has been out there non stop since it started. He is emotionally breaking down and if FOX cared at all about him Shep would be pulled now.
He needs a nap. He needs some solid food, And he needs some perspective. He isn't going to get it by congregating non stop with survivors also emotionally frayed.

The editors in the studio should have more sense since they are not out in the field with Shep. They are allowing it to be shown all day too.
