Were the entire families found only in homes or were entire families also washed up on the beach?
Now you're just being stupidly obtuse. You know the post doesn't infer any of that. And carping about semantics is just childish.
I watched a guy on broadcast TV last night that had come from California to experience a hurricane because he had never been in one. He rode out the storm in a parking garage near the shore of Biloxi and video taped the whole thing. When the storm surge hit he said it came as a 25 foot wall of water that just destroyed everything in its path. His closing comment: "I wanted to experience a hurricane...I got more than I bargained for..."
And I guess the Democrat Governor, Democrat Senators, Democrat Mayor get a pass? The Mayor has spoken like an absolute moron. He has no idea at the gravity of the situation and his professionalism is more like a car salesman than a government official.
the libs will ignore the ovious but the rest of America is watching/hearing the actions on live t.v.
Too bad these people don't have a Rudi Guilliani at this moment.
Living here in S. Fla. the original track took this over my house in S. Palm Beach - within hours it tracked south and the eye went over my son's home in Miami - he had no damage and only lost electricity. How lucky we have been here this season. Prayers for all.
I agree with you 100 percent; I hope my earlier post didn't indicate otherwise.
That's my guess too. All that shattered wood...like matchsticks would have had to kill a few or severely injure them and the water would do the rest. The miracle is that anyone who stayed is alive. Talk about a snarling ferocious beast. If hurricanes do have personalities this one was on the rag and on a tear!
Evacuations were ordered for the Mississippi coast. Gov. Barbour was talking tough on Sunday about how bad it would be. Check this story:

"Are there or are there not thousands of dead bodies in plain sight hanging in the trees?

That's exactly what the post infers. Try reading it.
My ex-bro-in-law who works for Georgia Power was told to expect to be gone from home for at least a month. I can just imagine the conditions those guys are going to be working under. So dangerous and so stressful!
Yes, Bush is God. He can control hurricanes. They worship Dubya at DU...
Thanks again Oxen...no need to clarify...you always have great posts.
"..impunged the poster's dignity.." I have seen no such thing, Cool, if you have, please point it out. Those of us who have doubted the veracity of the story are dubious of the specifics and conclusions of the source, not MFH. He merely passed it on, as any good freeper would be expected to do, leaving it up to us to mill it along with the rest of the grist.
Thanks for posting. I'm glad to hear the radio relays will be set up soon.
He doesn't need any coffee..but he needs a change of pants for more than one reason.
AFN keeps switching between FNC and Clinton News Network.
I misssed the interview you mentioned.
Excellent observations.
Here is the post:
Thousands of bodies have been discovered throughout Mississippi in Gulf Port, Waveland,Hancock County,Bay of St.Louis.
They are hanging in trees and they are pulling them out 30 at a time. Entire families found drowned in their homes and washing up on shore.
From that, you get thousands of people in trees? Do you know about reading comprehension?
I mean to tell you, some of these people have sounded no different than the crazies of Islam. Methinks they need to hop over to the religion forum.
Sadly, the damage is far too widespread and catastrophic.
My guess is that 100's may only be the tip of the iceberg.
Has anybody heard the media mention the "C" and "T" words??? (cholera and typhoid)
When this kind of disaster occurs in some distant, foreign land, they're usually pretty quick to mention those types of plagues.
I haven't heard anything yet, so I'm beginning to suspect that they're being low-key so that they don't frighten or panic people.
