Yes...I heard it. ;o)
Those folks are idiots.
I missed that. I have been on the telephone with my children most of the evening and night.
Everybody SHOULD have left NO, and the ones who have stayed will expect the police, fire and others to rescue them. THAT makes me mad. I pray not ONE safety officer (rescuer) loses his or her life for a pog that elected to stay put.
There won't be help for those who stay, officials warn

They have already sent emergency folks to shelters.
I am VERY PLEASED with our local coverage.
Much more informative than the cable channels!

Do you have one that streams?
I've been streaming WWL, but I have a feeling they won't be around very long.
They've moved a crew to Baton Rouge, but who knows how long that will last?
"AT least they know how to pronounce Bye loxy"
LOL!
That IS irritating, isn't it?
LOL! Right.
Say, has bourbon been here today or yesterday?
Maybe his house is already without power... if so, I guess we can anticipate another addition to his family come springtime...lol.
I haven't seen him.

Saving the planet...one child at a time. ;o)

Maybe a live stream too.
I just keep watching the TV.
"Not yet the water is still in the banks of the Pearl River!!"
ROTFLOL!
Thank goodness for that!
Oh, goodness!
Thank you so much!
Wow....!
Awesome work on that map....
1:15 am here, southeast of Baton Rouge, probably no more than 60 miles by air from New Orleans wind gusts of around 25-30mph..
One block off the garden district of my city (Plaquemine), it's interesting to watch how the winds influence so may types of trees. Pecan, Cypress, Mimosa, Spruce, Oaks, even a few broad leaf banana type trees.
Unclear yet how strong the winds will get, probably CAT 1 force. Area is prone to power outages so I'll update before dawn as the power is sure to go....
TS
I'm staying in Montana. Gonna be hot and sunny for the entire week.
I'm confused now; what information?
Most of my family's in the clear, and of course I'm high and dry (other than the 1/100th of an inch of rain today) here in Kentucky, but I have relatives in Baton Rouge and Slidell. If anyone is closer in can check on Robert "Rusty" Williams for me after the storm clears, it would be appreciated...
PING!
