We figured out who the DIA Commander was that suppressed the information for AD. He also suppressed information on the USS Cole.
Republicans and Democrats each got to appoint half. The appointments were made by the congressional leaders, i.e., Lott and Hastert, and Daschle and Gephardt, IIRC. Who told them who to appoint is AFAIK unknown.
I'm hoping for it to get legs but also but my hoped are fading. There just don't seem to be that other shoe to drop and Shaffer may be left out to swing in the wind.

I plan to keep the faith a while longer. Way back when Clintoon was impeached, a bunch of us here on FR raised several thousand dollars to put an ad in the DC newspapers urging his conviction by the Senate. I still have a bunch of fresh copies of that full page ad in the Washington Times--we couldn't afford ads in the Wash ComPost or NYT. We thought, yes, this time we've nailed that slippery guy. But with the help of the MSM, he skated as did the whole Clintoon admin. So I am very skeptical we can make anything stick to the Democraps, but I keep hoping. May be this will be the one.
Damn, just damn. I just heard Shaffer on Savage(delayed). He really sounded rattled and not nearly as cool as before. He again said the info can't be found. Savage didn't really want to talk to him very long.
Anyone have a different take I'd like to hear it.
