THE GOD VS. Darwin debate went to the White House last week when President Bush weighed in, stating in a roundtable interview with reporters that ''intelligent design" should be taught along with evolution in public schools
Did President Bush actually say that ID should be taught alongside ToE--or did he say that schools should teach the controversy? Big difference.
In any case, it's a boon for the libs: it involves their arch rival, Bush, AND something related to God. From smear to eternity.

If you find some form to electromagnetic radiation (as in SETI project) you ascribe it to higher intelligence. When you find a bacterium in the mud, when just about all forces of nature are against it...the answer is,.... ta-da...why of course it evolved.... Excellent point!
Yes if you can tell us the difference between discovering evidence of intelligence on a carved stone, the signals with discernable patterns evidencing ET and the mind-boggling complexity of the single cell being void of any evidence of design, purpose or intelligence, then you have unlocked the mysterious hidden agenda when addressing this subject of ID.
(Pardopn my lack of presence at the computer to carry on these discussion in a timely fashion.)
