When Meth was a trailer park" problem no one gave a hoot. Now that gays are dying it is everones problem. In other words we (the rest of society) will end up footing the bill AGAIN all because gays can't keep their peckers in their pants.
Lifestyle choices have consequences (but only if you are christian, "non-ethnic" and straight)
But hey if you're gay no problemo! Someone else will take care of the problem!!

What are they saying, Meth caused him to have unprotected gay sex and get and give AIDS? It is all Meth's fault, this guy had nothing to do with it? I like how liberals blame Meth or the Internet or something else for a person's lack of personal responsibility. I wonder why gays call Meth "Tina?" Does it have to do with "Tina Turner?" I would think they would call it by a man's name, Dick, Harry, John. But they do like certain women, Cher, Judy Garland, so maybe it's in that vein.

This is a sad story and there is but one lesson that
can be drawn from it: as soon as this man began to have sexual "feelings", "desires", or whatever you label it for the same sex, he should have sought counseling. This emotional warping is an injury that cannot be allowed to fester.

He drained his retirement savings to pay $33,000 in restitution to 50 identity-theft victims. He also sent them letters of apology.
What a swell guy.
I think I'll introduce him to my sister.

For four years, he worked for Arthur Andersen in Washington, handling high-profile clients ranging from the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts to United Way.Yes, the most liberal of liberals in business. Isn't Arthur Andersen the accounting firm repsonsible for the Enron scandal? Scandalous, incestuous liberals, the article reads like a who's who of left wing psychopaths...

I'd like to see the notes and sourcing information Joseph Rose has on this story. I smell Janet Cooke somewhere in this. The Arthur Anderson star hits skid row on meth, while not impossible, strikes me as a but too dramatic a denouement. And we know the track record of a lot of newspapers...

Here in Oregon, OTC cold remedies have just become prescription medicatations! May knock out the local meth labs, but the bulk of the meth comes from Mexico anyway. Another "feel good" solution.
To: Dane
Well don't I just feel like such a goody-two-shoes: I have my hands full dealing with beer, and knowing my limitations, I stay away from anything stronger.
This guy's life is shit . . . all for a drug and a perversion.
Yikes, what a scary story.

The money most like likely comes from Social Security. The politicians are always complaining that SS will go bankrupt but they continue to give it to 40 year old HIV infected drug addicts. This is pretty common from what I understand.
