Don't bother. The part about Peter the Roman was added long after St. Malachy's prophecy was written. I am a believer in prophecy, make no mistake, but I tend to think Malachy's prophecy to be a pious fraud.
Every since I left the Corps and police work the only source of adrenaline rush I get is to challenge her highness.
The last Pope will be Jesus Christ when He returns.
Peter the Roman may indicate that - a full circle from the beginnings of the Church. That is, if we believe the prophecy to be true.
Well we certainly can't state it in the workplace. That would be gronds for dismissal in most work environments these days.

That's not technically correct; the Pope makes no claim to be Christ. The applicable title is "Vicar of Christ" -- it would be sort of silly for Christ to be His own vicar.
But substinatively, of course, you're right. But technically, Christ is already the groom of the Church and the Head of the Body.
True on all counts.
I can't imagine a pope would take the name of Peter. It's like taking Mickey Mantle's number out of retirement. If we take the prophecies (or the alleged prophecies) at face value, I would venture it's something much more symbolic... perhaps the last pope prophesied (which may not necessarily be the "last" pope) will be martyred in Rome like Peter...
