"not forcing themselves on anybody, they are consciously keeping out of everybody else's face."

Sending males home, at a public pool. Sorry, doesn't cut it.

There is something seriously wrong when you 'hide' yourself from the world you live in and fear it.

Islam has no fear of death, as we have seen with the suicide bombers. Islam has a fear of life!

I am a member of an organization that has monthly events for which we routinely send the female bartenders, waitresses, etc.

I guess we are as bad as the muslims, huh? Geez!

This sexist death cult should be banned in America.

you sound like those that oppose the boy scounts. the point being that they paid for it, they are not depriving the public of use and there is no harm in modesty. do you disagree with any of that?

This is all right. If muslims want to practice their religious rules peacefully, paying their own way, this is very admirable.

In the early days of transatlantic steamers, women and men swam in the ship's pools at different times. Those people were mainly Christians and Jews. It was considered natural.

It's the blowing up of people, and the cutting off of their heads by muslims, that's just naturally got to stop.

The burka was probably a preislamic mode of dress suitable for a hot sunny dry climate - preserves the skin from excessive dehydration and exposure.

Yep, you're on the money.

I love this picture because the 'hairdo' is part of the their own personal, carry with you, air conditioning.

BTW, these women are Tuareg, not Muslim, and as you can tell, they can cover and uncover at will. THAT is the big difference between Islam and basic common sense.

When a muslim woman is at home in bed with her husband and the other three wives, is that considered "in public"?

" If the boy scouts can't pay extra to use a government facility, why should these women?"

EXACTLY! And the Boy Scouts of America are not even a religon, whoops, cult.

America better start screaming! Whoops, to late, dumbing down process has been achieved.

"Also, all of the fibers from their shirts and such clog the pool filters on a regular basis."

My Son worked as a lifeguard at a waterpark for three summers and came home complaining almost every night. One of rules were that guests had to wear bathing suits only, no cutoffs, cotton t-shirts or flowing clothes, for safety reasons and pool filter problems. The "city folks"(as my son would say) would argue with the staff constantly, sometimes causing a scene then having to be bodily removed by a State Trooper.

a church was disallowed the same privilege because they wanted to use the pool for baptisms. The city disallowed the rental on the basis that it would be public endorsement of a religion. So what we have are city officials being hypocrites.

I disagee. There is a difference between a group of people who belong to a church having a swim party, and an actual religious ceremony beieng conducted.

I don't have a problem with this, as long as they pay the same as every other group.

Making male employees leave a public pool, hell yes. that's nuts.

At private pools, that's fine if the club and employees agree.

If the women want to swim with clothes in public pools, let them - just don't make other taxpayers leave.

If the public pool's policy is to allow private rentals, fine, however I still have problems with making male lifeguards or other public employees leave.

I think that Islam is political under the guise of a "religion", and demanding the rights of a religion to take over territory.
