Great article. I'd like to see Ollie run for an office. In Williams' quote, it says "on June 31st".... There is no June 31st. Did Williams actually say that, or was it a typo? ... sorry, I cain't hep but notice that stuff.

I have not listened to MSM news in nearly 9 years.
So rally I am not qualified to answer Mr. North.
However, he pegs these left wing idiots right on from what I read about them.
Left wing loonies such as HowWeird Deaniac, Hellary. Little Dickie Turdbin, Georgie Soreass, Murdering Teddy Boy Kennedy, Hairless Reid, Nancy Papalousi, Babbling Boxero, Tommy I lied Harkin and Spit, Congressional Black Kakaus, Sheila Jessie the Scam Jackson Lee, Johhny Reparations Conyers, ACLU Commies, MSM and others would sell their mothers heritage for an election advantage for left wing kooks. I do not consider any of the Demoratic leadership to be true patriots as we have known patriots to be from past history.

97th Congress (1981-1983)
Majority Leader: Howard H. Baker, Jr. (R-TN)
Minority Leader: Robert C. Byrd (D-WV)
98th Congress (1983-1985)
Majority Leader: Howard H. Baker, Jr. (R-TN)
Minority Leader: Robert C. Byrd (D-WV)
Note: Howard Baker retired from the Senate at the end of the 98th Congress.
Looks like the senate was controlled by Republicans but that was a House bill.

North has too much baggage in his OQR.

Although not one to seek fame, he did not shrink from taking on a popular President in a most public way when the U.S. intelligence agencies unwisely, in his judgment, became involved in a civil war in Nicaragua. Later when questions arose as to whether laws restricting the activities of those agencies had been violated, he was among the small number of Members of the House selected to determine the truth. Even in the highly charged atmosphere that surrounded that investigation, when legislation bearing his name was central to the inquiry, he was not interested in publicity, but sought only to do the job entrusted to him by the House. Nancy Pelisi 2001 remarks about Boland.
Boland = Commie lover.

Notice that the paragraph that you posted in your post said his amendment had been involved in the hearings, but it didn't say that his amendment "saved the day"...
Also, in Pelosi's tribute, she applauded the work he did in appropriations for the Veteran's hospitals and clinics...and this speech was in 2001.
All we have heard for 5 years is how President Bush is responsible for not funding the Veterans hospitals...but I KNOW that the amount going to them has gone up exponentially from the Clinton years.

He IS the man. Oliver stood his ground way back during the Contra trials. He wasn't going to name the big names the Rat bastards in the Democrat party were drooling to get out of him. America was right in resisting the Communists in Central America and Oliver knew it.
Williams shows a level of ignorance that frankly I would expect from 8th grade history students.
To: Sam Gamgee
Yep, Ollie was right then and right now. Same for his critics, wrong then... wrong now.
