Here's the rest of the article.

The new policy says the following types of treatment may indicate racial discrimination in work situations:

Exclusion from formal or informal networks.
Denial of mentoring or developmental opportunities such as secondments and training that was made available to others.
Differential management practices such as excessive monitoring and documentation or deviation from written policies or standard practices.
Disproportionate blame for an incident.
Assignment to less desirable positions or job duties.
Treating normal differences of opinion as confrontational or insubordinate.

Characterizing normal communication as rude or aggressive.
Penalizing a person for failing to get along with someone else, e.g. a co-worker or manager, when one of the reasons for the tension is racially discriminatory attitudes or behaviour of the co-worker or manager.
It retires the term "minority group" in favour of "racialized persons," a category that goes beyond skin colour and ethnic background.
"Racialization extends to people in general but also to specific traits and attributes, which are connected in some way to racialized people and are deemed to be 'abnormal' and of less worth,'" it says. "Individuals may have prejudices related to various racialized characteristics."

Those characteristics may include name, accent or manner of speech, clothing and grooming, diet, beliefs and practices, leisure preferences, places of origin and citizenship, it says.

If you look for something everywhere you're liable to find it.

HUMANS: the imperfect beings, damn.

Damn, substandard performers (or non performers) in the work place will love this law. "What do you mean you have five counseling statements on this guy for being late for work and sun standard job performance? AHH, you must be a racist." Never be able to fire em now.

It also says racist behaviour cannot be hidden from trained observers.

Oh, my, no. Nor would witches be hidden from trained witch-finders. Of course, both sets of charlatans have a vested economic interest in finding racism or witches respectively, regardless of whether either one actually exists.

My thoughts exactly. On the other hand, I could use a career change, maybe I should apply to be a "trained observer". If they don't hire me they're racist scum, and if they do hire me then the Rev. Al and Jesse better stay the heck out of canuckistan!

(there are some posters on FR that better watch it too. I'm starting my lists...)

Some people don't like me and now I know why, they are racists. And all along I thought it was just me. Now I really feel better.

As a result, these kooks establish more racist policies, ensuring that white skined people are excluded from consideration of any government program. Racism is healthy and strong among these anti- racist kooks. Rather than treating all people equaly, and letting those with the best ability succeed, they catagorize, sort and opress based on ethnic origin.

I was think Orwellian totalitarianism myself. With an appreciate sense of the absurdist tyranny and a complete unwillingness to do anything about it.

The typestyle of this post, "Arial", very racist. As we all know, Arial is a little white mermaid princess who lives under the sea with other white mermaids and no "mermaids of color".

Or mermaids of a different sexual orientation. Flouder and Sebastian were actually lovers, but did Disney show that? Noooooo. Jerks.

It is time organizations and institutions acknowledge the reality of racism" It says such practices "may directly or indirectly, consciously or unwittingly, promote, sustain, or entrench" advantages for some people over others

There will always be positions in the race. If you don't have a measure for competence i.e. first, second, third, then you don't have a race. Communism or socialism are failures because there is no race. We all stroll over the finish line together, arm in arm and really getting nowhere.

Conservatism is the new racism in Canada. Only Liberals are presumed to be enlightened folks. For once, Ontario's Human Rights Commission has got it correct: some folks in Canada are more equal than others. Those who aren't politically correct are hideous evil racists: you know it in their views and in their proposed policies.
