"End of Major Hostilities". Smart quote? When did it happen?

"Who is most opposed: Those 65 and older"

The greatest generation.

Yeah, unfortunately once you make the decision to go to war, you can't just bail out and take it back when it takes longer than 6 months and people actually start to die.

We went into this as a nation, we need to get thru it as a nation. The Democrats and liberals don't offer any alternatives, just hollow rhetoric that only serves to aid the enemy.

IIRC, the AP/Ipsos poll was by far the most anti-Bush in the last election.

If the war is going badly, so be it. But if it is going as well as some reports not generated by the dinosaurs indicate, this will all be turned around in six months.

Well, of course, it was a "mistake."

All by design - just look at the PNAC documents and learn all about it boys and girls.

Liberals live and die by polling data/Editorials they create and manipulate to keep the sheepel on the farm. If they print it, well then, it must be true!

Conservatives rely on actual voting data for the latest true information about which way the country is leaning and so far we keep winning everything.

I would love to hear Karl Rove do a press briefing on this just to watch the horrified look on the faces of the MSM press.

OH! OH! Karl Rove sees though me! ahhh!

Considering the constant, never-ending mainstream media barrage of "bad news" out of Iraq, I think 47-percent solid support of the Iraq war as pretty good.

Furthermore, I would like to read the questions AND hear the inflection of the poll questioner's voice BEFORE I even gave it any credibility.

As a reporter myself for 10 years, I used to marvel at my own ability to make my interviewee say just about anything I wanted him or her to say.

All you have to do is continue to ask the specific question in a variety of ways, and eventually the person will play 'devil's advocate' with him or herself.
