A few days back the IBD poll showed around 60% wanting to maintain troops in Iraq and 70% feeling the Iraqi invasion had made the world safer.
Unklike this one, IBD was one of the most accurate polls in 2004; they nailed the election result exactly as I recall.

Yeah, unfortunately once you make the decision to go to war, you can't just bail out and take it back when it takes longer than 6 months and people actually start to die.
