I don't know WHY Mr. Carl Rove would speak of DICK Durbin in any other way that that of being a PATRIOT!!

He has stated before his Firm Belief! and Support! of the President in ANY action in Iraq! and has sided whole-heartedly with ANY Action .....NEEDED.....for....er...for...er..sorry..
wrong Time, wrong President..must have been BEFORE he underwent," Kerry-ization Brain-Flipping "...carry on.

Incidentally, a reader came upon this Durbin press release from Dec. 17, 1998:
I fully support President Clinton and our national security team's decision to take swift action against Saddam Hussein. . . .
I call on those who question the motives of the president and his national security advisors to join with the rest of America in presenting a united front to our enemies abroad.
The men and women who are risking their lives in defense of our national and global security deserve nothing less.
There's no questioning Durbin's patriotism--at least when a Democrat is in the White House.

Nothing like a little blast from the past on the Greatest Flip-Floppers of all times: the Democrat National Party!

The 'Rats are so stupid for making a fuss about this. A meeting of the NY Conservative Party gets no press. The 'Rats are making sure this gets daily press. Anyone sitting on the fence who reads Rove's words will end up climbing down on the conservative side--not only because Rove is right, but the 'Rats are stupid. The DNC, by making this an issue, is openly embracing the likes of Soros, Moore, Dean, and Durbin.

"Moveon.org and Michael Moore and Howard Dean may dominate the Democratic Party and liberalism — but their moderation and restraint is not what America felt needed to be done, and moderation and restraint was not what was called for."

Howard Dean and the words "moderation & restraint" somehow just don't seem to belong in the same sentence ...
