Thanks much for linking the petition. We need to spread this petition like a wildfire across the Internet because congress must take action to stop the unconstitutional use of power by the 5 fascists of the Supreme Court.

At this rate we don't have generations to educate the populace. Our rights are eroding so quickly that it takes your breath away. Your thought on payment for your property is true, but to continue the thought..."Imagine the home you own – the one you scrimped and saved your entire life to purchase, the one you planned on living in for the rest of your life, the one you planned to pass on to your heirs – was taken from you, capriciously by a small group of local officials in conspiracy with wealthy developers who want to level it and build office buildings."

When Mr. Farah says taken, he doesn't mean you won't receive compensation, but it will be an artificially low price because Govt. no longer has to play by the same rules. His example is very simple, and easy to understand.

One other thing that comes to mind is that we aren't throwing the word "fascist" around lightly. Read some of the German Courts Decisions when Hitler came to power and before he became Der Fuhrer when he completely wiped out all authority save his own..

Except that it was government seizing the property in that case and not a private entity which makes all the difference in the world.

"Artificially low price" just appeared in this discussion. Again, if we are not logical, we won't win. And guess what--we are not.

Take heart because there are millions of conservatives who will not go quietly into the dictatorial night without a fight.
