They were trying to find their girl while she might still be alive. It is like an Amber Alert.
The officials all say this...every hour is critical in a search for a missing person who might be in danger. Either you don't get it, or you don't care. There really is no other explanation for the line of attack on this poor family that you have taken.
Did you watch the interview where Geraldo interviewed the Aruban Prime Minister? He DEFINITELY STATED that Paul Van der S. had applied to be a Judge and he had FAILED to be accepted. Mr. Van der S. had been to this man's office just recently to ask for a job!! I saw and heard the interview with my own eyes and ears. You may have seen it. It was the man with the strip of beard that went from one ear right around the chin and up to the other ear. He looked liked a Dutch Reform fellow.
Um, I agree with cajungirl, ok? The authorities that write the talking points after reading police reports used "vigilante". Only a liberal would refer to an upset parent as a vigilante. They really really wanted Beth to just go away. I guess they didn't realize how immune most of us are to liberal talking points. They'll never win any media war, here.
PVDS SAYS the important thing is to find Natalee. Yet, he tells his son...you know, the last one seen w/her...NOT to say a word. Daddy is lying for sure.
He is the Minister of Justice.
ROFLMAO!
All you've done on these threads is malign the Twittys; frankly, MY OPINION is that you have some major issues with good people from the South who have money.
NO, dang it, I missed that interview, but I believe every word you have posted. I'm sure you heard correctly. I know I recall the earlier lie of VDS senior that you pointed out.
I just know the father will continue to lie for his son. He won't the kid's future away over an expendable American tourist girl.
One thing we know for sure is that God KNOWS where Natalee is!! And He is well able to reveal her whereabouts.
Agree.
Ah, I see; you're not smearing the Twittys, just accusing them of BRIBING officials in Aruba.
Very interesting. This has the potential to be another Schiavo-type case where even when the truth comes out, there will be people who refuse to beleive it. It appears the case is poorly handled, but the FACTS are so few and far between, it cannot be said with any degree of surety. Into the vacuum left by the lack of hard facts, we have suppositions, wild-assed guesses, and inneuendo.
Toespi,
May I ask how old your children are?
Amen.
The poster I have pinged, called it a "hostile adventure" when the Twitty's and the police went to the house to try to gain information about Natalee's disappearnance.
Imagine that: a HOSTILE ADVENTURE -- trying desperately to speak with the last known person to have been seen with Natalee is a HOSTILE ADVENTURE.
Howlin, answer this for me. Where in America does a mother, father, five friends from Alabama and two policemen have the right to interrogate a possible suspect, let alone one who is still seventeen? Show me the Dutch law that says this is legal. You don't know the facts and I don't know the facts of this case. We are going on information which has been advanced by hysteria and the same media you have always criticized. Greta and Geraldo are getting big play here. If this group showed up at my home using the tactics as reported by Jug, I would know that there is nothing my child could say that would be interpreted fairly and no, I would not tell the police that, my lawyer would.
Only a liberal would refer to an upset parent as a vigilante.
The "Alabama Posse" was in reference to an earlier post. You are correct: certain buzzwords blow their cover.
Take a breather - I detect some incoming at 12:00 o'clock high. There are a lot of folks who love conflict on otherwise rational discussion threads...they live for it!
This case is so frustrating - no facts have been made public, only snippets of conversations and locations where Natalee was seen, where she was supposedly taken and her rumored condition.
A few great FReepers (Maggiefluffs & Brigette)have done yeomans' work trying to gather facts, maps and timelines which have helped tremendously, but we are still left with a conundrum.
The Holloway-Twittys have even less.
