You put that so well. Natalee and her family are truly in limbo. (I'm so very sorry you lost your daughter. There's nothing more agonizing than losing a child. My heart goes out to you, and I know God has her in His Arms.) Truly, Beth Holloway is a hero in all this. You have to compare this with that other young woman missing from that cruise ship, and how the authorities 'handled' that. And her poor family, still in limbo, even suspecting she's being held in a Venezuelan brothel, subjected to God knows what.
Oh, great thought! Maybe in the parts we haven't seen yet?
He sure was sweating. I posted that last night, too.
That these mothers believe everything their teenage/young adult sons tell them indicates they are incredibly naive or incredibly stupid.
Are they really? LOL.
I'm in complete awe of that woman.
Oh, geez....again with the Scientology!
I don't know if Greta's interview has anything to do with the arrest. Greta thinks so, therefore I tend to believe Greta at this point.
I was the mother of three teenaged boys and sad to say, believed 90 per cent of what they told me. I remember when the eldest was 12 and came home with no report card, saying the school had run out of computer paper...I believed him. Well, he was a straight A student, I couldn't fathom his being afraid to show me a report card, but his father, upon hearing this twaddle, gave me a withering stare and said anyone who believed what a 12 year-old told them was crazy. Turns out he'd been given a B in math for not paying attention in class. The teacher thought that would motivate him to participate. I don't think I was stupid, really. Naive, you bet.
Yeah, too funny, Greta's ducking her old network, CNN.
:-D
Maggie, what was the exact quote of the message Joran sent that night on Yahoo Messengr (again!)?
I, too, give Beth Twitty a great deal of credit. I believe her persistence has driven the investigation a great deal further than it ever would have gone without her presence.
(In fact, when this is all over, those two security guards should thank her because I think she saved their bacon.)
A quick survey of cablenews talking heads shows that most believe the computer contents of VD's and Kalpoes has yielded the evidence necessary for today's arrest.
All three boys were emailing and IM'ing all their friends back and forth while they were out free.
Greta suspects there was an email trail from Joran to Deepak to Croese, probably to arrange disposal of the body in the early hours of Monday morning (3 -6 a.m.)
Greta is assembling her timeline, and filling in the blanks.
Kalpoes' mom says they came home sometime betw. 1 am, when she dozed off, and 3 am, when she saw the doors to their bedrooms closed. The reason for the stop-off at home was most likely to phone and/or email to get assistance in disposing of the body (IMHO). Deepak and Croese are best friends, remember.
Croese had access to a boat and is an "able seaman".
How the father factors into this is probably $$$$$$$. Croese most likely demanded a hefty sum for his assistance.
Greta may have precipitated an earlier arrest of the judge VDS by putting the heat on with her interviews.
What if this case hadn't gotten the press it has?
Greta handled the CNN question/comment very gracefully, indeed.
GretaWire says she'll be showing more of the footage tonight--but it also said she'll be on her way back so she may not be there in person.
I think it was Joran alone in the beginning; then he called the boys for help.
The rest I can go with.
