I done a) and b) in spades. On a quick google search, I found 6 carriers that have tables in the lavatories. Most airlines accommodate the problem in one way or another, but the crudest and most inconsiderate way is to change in the cabin with other passengers around. Would you consider somebody wriggling out of their soiled depends next to you and wiping their hands on the dining table or arm rests to be practical? You may not be so coarse, but there are millions who are. This is just one way that we're becoming more like third world countries - next thing will be to tuck the soiled diaper in the magazine pouch on the seat in front. It WILL happen if it isn't already a common occurrence.

I have to agreeand I have children. Doing "whatever they want for the children" is very bad parenting and don't let anyone kid you. It teaches them to be self-absorbed, spoiled and entitlement driven.
I have many failures in my life, but the one thing I am extremely proud of is how well our children behave in public placesrestaurants, airports, Doctor's offices, etc. And if they don'tthey know their are significant consequences. They learned by the time they were a year oldthe world doesn't revolve around them, but that doesn't make them any less loved/valued.
The point of all this is not necessarily to turn every American man and woman, respectively, into Cary Grant and Grace Kelly
And why the heck not. The world could use a few more Grants and Kellys.
