Maybe he's a fixer, knows how to clean up sticky situations.
NSNR...what exactly did the father say he was doing at 3am? Has this been discussed? I missed this..

Boaters pass by the tourist party boat 'Tattoo' off Palm Beach in Aruba, Friday, June 17, 2005. Steve Gregory Croes, 26, who works as a disc jockey on the boat became the fourth person arrested in the case of missing Alabama teen Natalee Holloway, nearly three weeks after her disappearance on this Dutch Caribbean island. In the interest of Natalee's character: It is still not clear whether she had a "willingness to have a one night stand." Maybe she did not, and they tried to force her into it and that is what caused this whole situation. She had no reputation for sleeping around. Many of her schoolmates have attested to her character and none discredited her. She may have fallen for Joran, like many other teens having a summer-love, that is not unusual. She may have wanted to spend some last moments with him, but sex may not have been her idea. Even if it was, that is not uncommon (unfortunately) nowadays - or even when we were growing up. IMHO even being a passionate teen thinking she was "in love" would not brand her a sleep-around type.
Poor child, whatever happened I doubt she had any awareness of possible danger. If she is no longer alive her last moments must have been horrifying. If she is stull alive, she must be terrified. I pray she is safe somewhere, anywhere and reunited with her family soon.
I have a question- if this Dutch teenager is found guilty, would he granted diplomatic immunity similar to some cases that have happened in the US? The thought makes my stomach sick.
I'm very afraid that it may turn out to be an accidental death that have all involved trying desperately to figure out ways to not become directly implicated. That said, I still hope she is alive -- somewhere.
When I went to Amsterdam years ago I was told everything there was totally corrupt. I had no reason to find out, but if this is any example... and this IS a dutch situation. Why do the Netherlands have colonies anyway? I thought that business was all over and done with. Aruba can go to heck. I have no business there anyway, but they're like the French to me now.
That might make sense if she had disappeared here in the US.
I thought Joran was in the prison now. Did they bring him back to the jail to meet with his mother?
So I am thinking that Natalee WAS a good girl and had no intention of putting out. Which is why Joran had to get her alone in his apartment, where he had his stash of pills..The boy probably never could take the word "no" for an answer.
I don't feel Natalee is alive. They disposed of her remains in the ocean where there is no chance of recovery.

The only thing I heard was that he(father) was observed at Mc D's around 3:00AM by someone(s)(unk). The "Fruit-Buzz" attack was just satire about why he would be at Mc D's 3:00AM, the morning of Natalee's failure to appear. Like father-like son two POS. NSNR
But what? Stealing a pretty underage teenager from a tour group doesn't make any sense. You steal a girl a little older who's looking for an adventure and doesn't have 30 people who aren't going to scour the place looking for her. Somebody screwed up. You also don't deal with a bunch of teenagers if you're going to steal a teenager. None of it makes sense.
Just for the FR record, I AM open to other things that may have happened to Natalee...but I can't get it out of my head that the two brothers may indeed be innocents...that they lied to cover up for their friend at the beginning and never realized in their widest immaginations that they would be suspects in a murder investigation.

NAtalee's Mom said last night she's never been late to anything in her life and there is no way in the world she ran away.
The heat of the night. Rod Steiger. Filmed in my family's home town of Sparta, Il, I might add, though the setting is called Sparta, GA.
You're thinking of a mini-series turned into weekly serial called "V", with Mark Singer (formerly of The Beastmaster). The aliens were really lizards underneath.
I loved that show. I was in middle school at the time, and man, at lunch, it was all about "Did you see V last night, when Diana ate the mouse? Yea,,,,it was cool"
Thanks for the memories, CitizenM. I needed to get those neurons firing again! NOTE TO MY HUSBAND: DVD OF "V" for Christmas stocking stuffer.....
We knew something was funny with the bug-eyed bride because the groom wasn't that upset. That's why we thought he killed her.
The key to finding out who in part is responsible for her disappearance is a polygraph test, plain and simple.
The end result of a hedonous society focused on blatant and perverse sexuality. Such a place draws corrupt and evil people. In such a foul place criminal behavior is the rule. You can smell the cover-up from here. Travel to this den of iniquity at your peril!
