There are many people removed from feeding tubes in this country every day.

Think Schavio will return the money he got for malpractice? Since it's obvious and all no eating disorder, no heart attack?? LOL

I take it back. You're not evil; you're warped.

There is a big difference between this girl and others who have had large sections of their brain removed surgically. The brain material removed by surgery is the outer sections, I.E. the sections closer to the skull. The surgeons don't go too deep to prevent harming the patients ability to function. The outer tissue is more responsible for memory than function. Also this procedure is rarely performed on folks older than 15. Terri Schaivo's dead brain tissue was located right smack in the center of her brain. In the parts that control functions. Including sight, swallowing, speaking.... Someone once posted a CAT scan of her brain showing the central parts were merely fluid.

Please compare apples and apples and oranges to oranges.

You're evil.

Nice.

I bet you like telling people they are going to hell also.

Michael Schavio owes the medical doctors he unjustly SUED an apology - wonder if he'll pay it back?

I didn't decide anything, I said "think." You're the one who seems to be so sure of everything.

Oh you know it. They won't even believe that she was blind.

OK, I'll retract the term heart attack...The date of her death was the day of her collapse...whatever it was from. Better?

Wrong. Fibroids always mark prior trauma in soft tissue, and bones don't heal seamlessly.

A a lot of people owe Michael Schiavvo an apology: Of course it wont be forthcoming. Funny they said she followed people with her eyes when the doctors say she was blind.

I guess you never saw any of the Videos. Either that or you are an euthanasia advocate.

Independent observers were not allowed to see what went on in that autopsy, so the cover up is now complete.

Autopsy results on the 41-year-old brain-damaged woman were made public Wednesday, more than two months after Schiavo's death March 31 ended an internationally watched right-to-die battle between her husband and parents that engulfed the courts, Congress and the White House and divided the country.

Anyone notice whose name was NOT mentioned after the "between" above?

It wasn't a right-to-die battle, it was a right-to-kill battle. Absent a written statement by Terry that she would have wanted to die we were dealing with her husband's wish that she die. For some reason it was terribly important to Michael that she die. It was his issue, not hers, that she die.

Shalom.

By all means, show us a single instance where a person with a damaged visual cortex, or even occipital lobe was able to see. You're erroneously extrapolating the possibility from known instances where other functions have been taken over by different parts of the brain. There are no known instances at all where the highly specialized visual fucntions have ever been replicated by another part of the brain.

"The brain weighed 615 grams, roughly half of the expected weight of a human brain,"

I like this one, Terrys brain was only half that of a human brain. So she wasn't human now, or at least her brain wasn't.
