What are you talking about? Didn't I just say that Chile's free market is the reason for their success (to paraphrase)? We'll never know how Cuba would have ended up if they hadn't relied 99% on the soviet union. It was pretty disastrous from the get-go but communist countries can see the benefits of a more open market (i.e. china)
Che became the henchman after the revolution cooled down. Prior to that he was the primary tactical and political planner for the revolution. The US Army teaches guerrilla and counter-gurrella operations from Che's writings.
