No. According to their "culture" this is ok and of course with the Liberals relativism about cultures we shouldn't criticize this. Moreover its probably America and Bush's fault somehow. Civilized society and the advances in the treatment of women and children is probably just part of the evil military industrial capitalist society.
I am waiting for the women's movement to rally and protest. Hmmmmm. Pretty quiet.
