Maybe this will give us the excuse to actually let our military do their jobs instead of holding them back with this PC crap they are abusing our military with ....

Maybe someone will see the stupidity of these judges for once and kick this PC crap into the can !

Government lawyer Sean Lane argued that releasing pictures, even if faces and other features are obscured, would violate Geneva Convention rules on prisoner treatment by subjecting detainees to additional humiliation or embarrassment. He said the emotional wounds would be reopened because detainees could identify themselves and because the public would learn their identities.

This oughtn't to be a problem if they can get permission from the Mooses that this was done to. If the Mooses want to stir up some stuff, they will be glad to give permission.

Does anybody else have a problem with a civilian judge sitting in a the U.S. having any authority to command the U.S. military operating in a foreign country? This aint a matter arising out of our Constitution.

Judge Alvin Hellerstein, finding the public has a right to see the pictures, told the government

What right? And why?

To incite riots and foment anti-Americanism.

Fine. The judge should be given the pictures and sent to a Muslim country to release the photos in the worst slum we can find.

...Judge Alvin Hellerstein
Clinton appointee,, 1998...

What else do we know about him besides the fact that he is trying to use his power to undermine America and the WOT, not to mention endanger the lives of our troops?

Some of these judges have got to go.

I believe in supporting our troops.

First and foremost, from my limited military experience, I do not believe low ranking enlisted men and women, corporals and specialists, would have enough authority to carry out the crimes the military has charged them with without the approval of their superiors.

I believe our troops when they stated they were following orders. I do not believe the "few bad apples" claim. That is not the way the military functions.

To sacrifice these brave men and women in uniform doing their duty half way around the world in order for senior personnel to save face is wrong in my opinion.

Maybe there will be additional evidence in these photos to support the claims of our servicemen sentenced to hard time that they were following the lawful orders of superiors.
