I put myself on Move-on's mailing list so I can see what there up to in advance. I got this email from them today.
Looks like they are planning protests at "courthouses in every state." SOMEONE CALL THE PROTEST WARRIORS! :)

You know, if enough people use Yahoo accounts to sign up for this stuff, and then flag it as spam when it's received, we could gum up their works pretty bad.

Let's see, they feel that these Republicans can be bent to support the right of the Dems to essentially choose nominees, but they don't think that these same Republicans will block "extremist" Bush appointees, when, and especially if, they come about.
Something's fishy here.

Sad that such a group must resort to lies in order to gin up its wacko base. Guess it's not surprising. Funny how they don't mention that filibustering of JUDICIAL nominees was unheard of until their sweetheart Democrats started this UNCONSTITUTIONAL move when Bush became President. It was Democrats who changed the rules.
Tired of MoveOn.org's lies and I'm getting real tired of our party not having to guts to stand against this abuse of power by the Democrats!

But seriously, if any RINO thinks for a moment that supporting the Dems on this will win them ANY points with the media, or the Dems in the future, they are dreaming.
Look at Bush-41, he gave the Dems everything they dreamed of on the environment, civil rights, wheelies, taxes, etc. But when it came time for re-election, he was characterized as a Pat Buchanon "extremist". In other words, once the Dems get what they need out of any Republican, they chew them up and spit them out.

Notice they said "save our courts". Yes, we want to dismantle "your" courts and make them the country's courts. You've had them way too long.
As for Bush appointed judges ruling against various laws, many of those "laws" were "written" by the judiciary. I don't think that's in their job description. We mean to fix that.

Total paranoia.
Frankly, I think the minimum wage is unconstitutional. If the government can set a minimum wage, then they can set any wage for anyone in any company. The government can have total control over business.

When I went to the site, this is what I wrote in the blank page provided:
Please, please, please, allow a vote by the full senate on an up or down vote on all presidential judicial nominees. If this doesn't happen, please support the "Constitutional Option".
DISREGARD STATEMENT BELOW. IT WAS MALICIOUSLY ADDED AND CANNOT BE DELETED.

Amazing how their arguements supposedly in opposition to the "nuclear" option sound far more like reasons to vote FOR the nuclear option. Those same arguements are the very same ones that back up the use of said option - to protect the independence of the courts.
The courts, as they stand today, lean FAR to the Left in many cases. The courts are suppose to be strict interpreters of the Constitution - not legislators. This is exactly what most of GW's nominees would help do. Yet the Left wants the courts to fall even further left - and far LESS independent.
