Autosexual, but at least you're trying.
You wrote: Now how do we define pornography? I think that anything that links children, violence or animals or sex in any combination is subject to consideration as pornography.
My Reply: add onto that definition, if it is painful, then that is pornography.
Actually this is an area I work on as part of my job. The sexual assault investigators would disagree with you. The van Dam case is a classic example of a pervert evolving into a pedophile by way of pornography.
To say that I'm talking about all or nothing in this argument is to debate like a modern liberal. I'm not advocating the banning of all adult material, with some unreachable goal in mind. No one factor will abolish sexual assault. But there are many factors that will increase the prevalence of sexual perversion in our society. It makes sense to reduce those factors.
Sorry if my defense of the family and children offends your libertarian sensibilities.
You don't understand. The psuedo-pious nimrods all have to post about how holy they are, and that having sex through a hole in a sheet is what god intended. Then they'll go back to cruising porn on the internet.....
Um, no. The guy is still sexually aroused by the images of naked women. He is imagining that he is being pleasured by the porn girls, not by a man's hand.
Following your logic, if a guy masturbates while also being able to have sex with women, he is bisexual.
So, have you stopped beating your boyfriend yet?
Your comment is along the same lines as this infamous question. What makes you think those of us who oppose the criminalization of porn are in favor of children and non-consenting adults being exposed to porn?
IMHO, Bundy was telling Dobson exactly what he believed Dobson wanted to hear. This was just another Bundy mind-#%$! with the express intent of generating publicity in the hopes that he could use it as leverage to delay or stop his execution.
If substitute World of Warcraft for sex in many of the above, I'm in trouble.
You wrote: You are basically asking government to use its power to enforce your view of what is positive and what isn't.
My Reply: Hmmm you mkae a good point there. Well how about this, how about government making anti gay laws? Isn't that the same thing? Making laws about people's views of waht is positive and what isn't? How do you feel about the anti-gay laws?
No way we're going to agree about porn. We'd better leave it at that.
Sure.
How do you feel about the anti-gay laws?
I believe any laws that regulate the private consensual sexual acts of adults are unconstitutional.
Melas, I don't agree with you, I think Bundy was telling the truth. I will bet that ElkGroveDan has some experience coming into contact with people who ahve committed crimes and I do think that pornography is a factor.
WELL GOOD FOR YOU! At least you are consistent!
What do you think about the morality of wife-swapping and drug use in the childs own home?
Can you remind me of Danielle and what happened to her and who did it? It is so sad there have been so many crimes against children, I am afraid I am storting to loose track of them.
AG Crist is quoted in this article.
But he isn't being pleasured by the girls. It is a man's hand.
In any event - if he can only get aroused through imagery and not the real thing, then he's handicapped and impotent.
His love is in the sink.
I know you guys that are into porn don't like hearing this.
But face it - you're pervs.
And, don't knock the homos: You are closer to being one than you think.
This could be said about anything. Until REAL studies back up this assertion, this is just a case of busy bodies looking for ammunition.
