Is this the guy that posted tubgirl and the porno stuff repeatedly. If not i am way off base.
I back spaced the url of the pics yesterday and browsed his directories at something like "wehate.org" or some such. There were plenty of pics that are regulars here on FR and ranging into the nazi skinhead click. I didnt get any perticulars off the site just trying to check out the origin of the crap on my computer screen.....now there is a 801 post thread about it.
Posible to track him down thru his isp or web space provider?

I love FR and in the short seven months I've been here I've made what I believe to be life long friends.
But I'm getting really fed up with these pictures posted to me 20 times; I don't know what about me has put me on this thing's honor roll, probably my support of Israel.

I noticed it. He or it, has a list. He forgot to change it around, I think.
I was on a web forum a couple years back that had a smut posting troll on it.
Took us two or so months of documenting the troll's IP addy, behavior, and posts, but we got them permanently barred from having internet access legally.
But we had to document everything.
Using free e-mail addies doesn't stop the troll from broadcasting his ISP addy, IP addy, and various sundry other bits of information.
Besides, the troll on teh board previously mentioned tried that.
The e-mail provider was kind enough to hand over the information on the troll that they had, their regular e-mail addy, the ISP and IP addy from which they'd registered...
I'm sure the mods and Jim have thought of that.
You see, we tracked that troll down to a webTV account.
They'd used a library to post smut from, but they'd registered the e-mail addy from home, and another one from work.

No, I usually don't post to more than three or four people at a time, they tend to be the same people, and are not those on this list. Is this list significant to the smut poster?

He forgot to shuffle his ping list around since last time he pinged people to his smut.

It appears to be the same ping list used to ping myself and several others to the smut posts.
Going to have to double check, but it looks the same.
We could fix 90% of these problems by doubling the number of mods and allowing the new set to only delete posts from posters who have signed up in the last week. They could also temporarily suspend posters from posting.
The guy's idea is good though. Should not be able to sign up for FR under anonymous emails.
Sorry, I misunderstood--to be honest, I don't remember. I was so disgusted and shocked by the graphic pictures that I scrolled past them quickly without looking to see who else was a recipient.
Next time (and I am sure there will be one) I will watch for who else this sewer swill was posted to. Does he post to the same people every time?
It used to be that way.
FR may well need a legal eagle on retainer versed in the arcane meanderings of internet law, and how normal statutes apply to FR since it is considered private property as it is a provately owned server.
