Gonna declare us 'PVS', then?
Quick, give me a drink!
What lie? Spell out the lie I told about you.
The lie you told in post 230. Sheesh, I thought my memory was bad. http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/1395091/posts?page=230#230
I accept both as part of our Creator's immaculate design.
And I fear neither.
So you advocates of the pro-life orthodoxy aren't trying to impose your beliefs on everyone else? Yeah right. The only one lying here is you.
Those who were and are horrified at what the Nazis did when they exterminated those they deemed not worthy of life have a saying:
"Never forget!"
You seem to have a different rule:
"Never remember!"
What a career of genocide against women. How about the time in 1998 when Greer refused a woman whose husband threatened to murder her a restraining order, and he butchered her 10 days later. What a legal giant!
How about an award from N.O.W.? After all look at how they loved serial rapist and molester Clinton!
'Pro-life orthodoxy' in America was established by the Founders.
Inalienable, God-given right to life and all of that, you know.
All we are doing is striving to drive back those who are attempting, with the help of a lawless judiciary, to repeal the inalienable right to life by fiat.
So, hey! When did y'all pass that Constitutional Amendment repealing the Fifth and the Fourteenth Amendments anyhow??
I can't believe that there is such a seeming lack of outrage among so-called conservatives that we have reached a point in this country that says, in effect, you need a piece of paper to continue living. If you don't have that, depending on the circumstances, someone can come along and decide that you should be killed, and all they need find is a sympathetic judge who will control the flow of evidence in your "case" in just the right way to make it come out that you get starved and dehydrated to death.
I remember a time in this country when you didn't need a piece of paper on file with your lawyer or a court to guarantee your right to live. It was just assumed that you had the unalienable right to life (among other things). That seems not to be the case anymore. Terri Schiavo didn't have that paper, so they killed her. They rounded up enough so-called witnesses that said she said something once a long time ago, a judge admitted that hearsay evidence, and they killed her. So much for that old-fashioned notion of unalienable rights.
Since you don't know anthing about my background, you shouldn't jump to conclusions. I will say my family background is not German nor Nazi. How about yours?
You're a liar. Just find someone or something else to lie about.
Who said a thing about your family background?
You keep calling me the liar? I wish you would say right out that you aren't trying to impose your pro-life orthodoxy on everyone else.
Excellent verse. For me (regarding the Schiavo case & helpless outrage), it's all of Isaiah 40, most specifically vs 23 -
Isaiah 40:21 Have ye not known? have ye not heard? hath it not been told you from the beginning? have ye not understood from the foundations of the earth?
22 It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in:
23 That bringeth the princes to nothing; he maketh the judges of the earth as vanity.
Comforting to be reminded just Who holds all the power. :)
