Why cant you just wait and see what the facts present instead of all this twaddling on with tinfoil theory????
She's old like me!
For the time being, I am happy she is among the living and smiling.
Wait and see.
She had 8 bridal shower recently! Whoever did this thought they could get some money.
She looks younger than she really is though.
And they didn't know much about her, whether she was smart or stupid.
Well, I am depending on you (as always) to find and post legitimate articles so we can weed thru the facts and discard the hype and speculation...lol.
This is one blabby family, isn't it? All of them seem to want to get on the phone/TV...........LOL.
All I know is that I don't walk after dark even though I live in a supposedly safe area. There have been several abductions/murders in my county over the last few years, including one college girl whose car was found with the car door open and the car running at a rural stop sign. Her rapist/murderer had intentionally bumped her car when she stopped, and grabbed her when she got out to check the damage.
She didn't know him. He had scoped her out because she was a clerk at a Wal-Mart. He was caught, however.
There are lots of crazy people around. Lots.
Ooops.
This is the phone booth at a 7-11 convenience store, in Albuquerque, N.M., Saturday, April 30, 2005 where Jennifer Wilbanks, the Georgia missing bride, called home from late Friday night according to police. Wilbanks says she was released by her abductors near the store in Albuquerque. (AP Photo/Jake Schoellkopf
Although I'm 34. Bald. Blind. Disabled. Barely get around. Cranky like my grandfather sometimes!
I think we have more than most "news" organizations. lol!
******
Jennifer Wilbanks was safe and in police custody more than 1,420 miles from her home in Duluth, Ga., said Kathy Mabry of the Albuquerque Police Department.
The bride-to-be had been missing since Tuesday, when her fiance reported she went for her nightly run and didn't come home, according to Duluth police.
Wilbanks called her fiance, John Mason, early Saturday and said she had been kidnapped, her stepmother said. "Jennifer said she thought the people got scared because of all the media coverage and just let her go," Ann Wilbanks told The Associated Press.
As she spoke to Mason, Duluth police traced the phone call to Albuquerque, the stepmother said. She said the family would fly to New Mexico later Saturday.
Mason told CNN that he wanted to "burst into tears" when his wife called.
"I grabbed the phone and just started talking to her until the police came here. She was scared, she didn't know where she was," he told CNN.
On Friday night, police in the Atlanta suburb of Duluth began dismantling a search center, saying they had no solid leads. Relatives offered a $100,000 reward for information.
7-11? Her uncle clearly said Circle K.
LOL!
How is it that she had money to make the phone call? I know it was a collect call, but she had to have had some change to even make that call to the operator. Trival question, I know, but just wondering.
Yes - having an open mind though means it is open in several directions (not one direction, which is usually what people who say 'have an open mind' mean: that is, "be open to what I'm saying!").
Like I said, I am happy she is alive and well. As far as these crooks go, they aren't too bright. If she got a good look at them and they let her go, they are criminal blockheads. Kidnapping is a serious crime: when its done, it shouldn't leave witnesses.
Bottom line is she is alive and well. But wait and see.
Earlier this evening KOAT, CNN's affiliate said she was found at Salano(Sp?) and Central in Alberqurque and showed footage of a 7-11.
I dunno nothing, me just reportin them links from AP and Yahoo ;)
