Not me. And I don't have any mingling dishes, either. In fact, I'd never heard of them before this thread. Any party I've ever been to where people walk around with their plates were walking around with Chinet and plastic cups.

Did you get married in the CalNeva chapel? I was small, but had a great view!

Jamey was married on April 3rd and it snowed the whole week up to the day we flew in---the snow was beautiful..

The rehearsal dinner on the boat on the lake was very fun, but it was very cold going out on the deck...

Ah, what wonderful memories!

No, we got married in South Lake Tahoe. We went to CalNeva after because my sister worked there.

My mother and my two older sisters live there in Incline Village (lucky dogs.) That's my retirement dream, but I'd have to hit the lottery to afford it.

Jeez, louise what kind of jobs do they have? Incline Village is supposed the be the most expensive per sq. foot place to live in the USA---??

It was gorgeous, we drove by there from the CalNeva Hotel to the dock for the rehearsal dinner, we went through IV.

She has a lot of enablers. No wonder she never had to grow up.

What's your pattern?

By the way ladies, if your pattern is discontinued, you can find replacements or finish your set here:

http://www.replacements.com/

They're based out of Greensboro, NC, employees can bring their pets to work, and if they don't have what you're looking for, it probably doesn't exist.

CNN said that she said the wedding was just postponed, not cancelled....

The only thing that could make this whole thing more pathetic would be if they got married tomorrow!!!

If they get married tomorrow, or ever, then they deserve each other and the miserable life ahead.

LOL! They have low paying jobs, but my mom is retired (married well), and my sisters moved in with her so their rent is free. It works out well for them, and they can keep Mom company and look after her.

We looked at buying a condo to rent out just to get a foot in the door, and for about $400,000 you can get a two bedroom with a carport built in 1971.

What's your problem? It's just a song from a comedy. That's all.

Gorham Buttercup is the silver pattern. Minton Ancestral is the china. On the Replacements Ltd. mailing list for years. Used to enjoy trips there when I lived in NC. Amazing inventory. They have been great as I have added to the silver and china patterns over the years.

Relief, anger permeate Wilbanks’ hometown
Some call bride-to-be’s disappearance a ‘dirty trick’
The Associated Press
Updated: 7:43 p.m. ET April 30, 2005

DULUTH, Ga. - They searched woods and alleys, crawled in sewage drains and stayed up late looking for a local woman who went missing four days before her wedding.

snip

Moments after the word came Saturday that Wilbanks, 32, fled town and hadn’t been kidnapped, most of the police who’d been guarding her house since Tuesday night pulled away. Fliers with Wilbanks’ picture were pulled down from local store windows. Some residents removed yellow ribbons they’d put on their mailboxes.

Many called for Wilbanks to face criminal charges, even though Duluth Police Chief Randy Belcher said none would be filed.

“There should be some responsibility for all this expense to the police,” said Jo Cripps, eating boiled crawfish at a downtown Cajun restaurant. “Certainly she owes an apology to all the people who came out and volunteered.”

Some were visibly angry.

“I’m glad that she’s found,” said Ryan Kelly, owner of Park Cafe, a shop a few blocks from Wilbanks’ home that gave out coffee and sandwiches to those who searched for her this week. “But that being said, this is one of the most selfish and self-centered acts I’ve ever seen. We saw her parents, and you could see the anguish in their eyes. It was terrible.”

Thanks for that site link. I'm missing several pieces from a set I bought in 1980, maybe I can find them there.
